Salutations to the devotees performing Badakamala Puja of Jai Prathyankara Peeta.

Mother Jai Prathyankara is the universal goddess who bestows all the boons on the needy.

When everyone wanted to worship her, Swami realized it would be difficult to worship Ambal's idol. Therefore, Srisree Prathyankara Dasa Swami prayed to Ambal with the idea that the servants of Jai Prathyankara Peedam should perform puja very simply. Then Padagamalam was created according to the way shown by Mother Jai Prathyankara.

Goddess Jai Prathyankara has a thousand lion faces. There is no Ambal without a lion. Simmavakini, the Mother, is sitting on a lion. A lion on the pedestal, Ambal's feet on a lotus flower in front of the lion, six types of miraculous divine herbs and Sri Maha Chandi Homam and Jai Prathyankara Nadunisi Nikumbala Homa Baspam and Rakshas, made by Srisree Prathyankaradasa Swami as Ambal's feet according to Tantrashastra.

Generally, whenever we go to any temple, we visit from the feet when we see the deity. That way of darshan is good. Likewise, Rishis, Saints and Gurus say that it is very good that we perform foot puja.

Whatever problem we have, when we do Pada Pooja to saints and priests, we get a solution to that problem.

For example, if our enemies or wrongdoers fall at our feet and ask for forgiveness, we forgive them. Usually, by bowing down at the feet of elders, we get their blessings.

Similarly, whatever our problems and demands may be, if we submit to the Badagamalam and perform puja, Mother Jai Prathyankara will grant us what we need. Mother Jai Prathyankara's feet are our destiny if we hold the lotus and worship it with the sole thought that Mother will remove our sins and show us the right path.

Just as you already do puja with Jai Prathyankara image in your regular daily ragu kala pooja, you should do ragu kala pooja with pada kamalam after receiving padagamalam.

Come and pray with the supplication in mind. Your request must be reasonable. Our prayers should be aimed at not ruining the lives of others so that we can live. Only good will happen with this badagamala puja.

Realizing that Goddess Jai Prathyankara is the one who knows what we want, and when we want it, Srisree Pratyangaradasa Swami is giving Badagamalam to this world.
